We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. This statement explains how accessible it is, what to do if you have trouble, and how to report a problem.

How accessible this website is

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 to level AA. We believe most of the site meets that standard, and we have designed it so that you should be able to:

• change colours, contrast levels and fonts using your browser or operating system;
• zoom in to 200% without text spilling off the screen;
• move through the site using a keyboard alone;
• use it with a screen reader, including the fixtures, results and league tables.

Tables of results and standings carry proper row and column headings so that a screen reader can announce which team and which figure it is reading.

Where we know it falls short

We know about the following, and have listed them honestly rather than leaving them to be discovered:

• Maps. Club pages can show an embedded map, which is supplied by another organisation and is difficult to use with a screen reader. Every club that has a map also has its address written out as text, and a link that opens the location in your own maps application.
• Older documents. Some forms and historic documents are PDFs or Word files that predate this site and are not fully accessible. If you need the information in one of them in another format, ask us and we will provide it.
• Older news and history pages. Material carried over from the previous website may contain images without useful descriptions, and headings that do not follow a strict order.

Content that is out of scope

Where this site links to another organisation’s website, that site’s accessibility is a matter for whoever runs it. We do not control those pages.

If you find a problem that is not listed above, or you think we are not meeting this standard, please tell us at adam@padelistleague.co.uk. Describing the page and what went wrong helps us fix it faster. We take reports seriously and will reply.

How we tested this site

What we are doing about it

We fix accessibility problems as we find them and as they are reported, and we check new pages against this standard before they go live. Where a fix depends on somebody else — the maps provider, for instance — we look for an alternative rather than leave the page unusable.
