Who runs this site
This site is operated by Padelist (“we”, “us”), [PLACEHOLDER: legal status — e.g. an unincorporated association, a company limited by guarantee with its registered office at …]. You can contact us at adam@padelistleague.co.uk.
What this site is for
The site publishes the fixtures, results, standings and ratings of the competitions we run, together with information about our member clubs. It is provided for the use of those clubs, their members and anyone interested in the sport.
Results and standings
A result becomes official once it has been entered by a team captain and accepted by the league administrator. Standings, ratings and rankings are calculated from those results.
We correct mistakes when we find them or when they are reported to us, and a correction may change a published standing after the event. Where a result is disputed, the competition’s own rules decide the outcome, not this website.
Accounts
Some parts of this site need an account. If you have one:
- keep your password to yourself, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has it;
- everything done through your account is treated as done by you;
- enter results honestly and only for the teams you are responsible for.
We may suspend or remove an account that is used to enter false results, to misuse another person’s details, or in a way that disrupts the competition or this site.
What you may do with the content
You may read, print and share pages from this site for your own use and for the ordinary running of your club - putting the week’s fixtures on a noticeboard, for example, or forwarding a table to your team.
Please do not republish substantial parts of the site elsewhere, or extract its data systematically, without asking us first. Where you do quote from it, a link back to the page is appreciated.
Club names, badges and logos belong to the clubs themselves.
Content other people provide
Club profiles, club news and similar material are written by the clubs, not by us. We publish them in good faith and do not check every statement in them.
If you write or upload anything to this site, you confirm that it is yours to publish, that it is accurate, and that it is not offensive, misleading or unlawful. We may edit or remove anything that is not.
Links to other sites
Where we link to another organisation’s website we do so for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their handling of your data.
Availability
We try to keep this site running and its information current, but we cannot promise it will always be available or always be free of errors. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it without notice.
Our responsibility to you
This site is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of it or from reliance on anything published here - a fixture that later moves, a standing that is later corrected, a club detail that is out of date.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under English law. Nothing here affects your rights as a consumer.
Your privacy
How we handle personal information is set out separately in our privacy notice, which forms part of these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page is the one that applies, and the date below says when it last changed.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
